Join CBA and other local beekeepers at Edgerton Park in New Haven for a shared luncheon and honey exchange. We'll connect with each other around a shared meal, and just have fun...beekeeping-style.

Please bring a covered dish to share. Water, soft drinks, and desserts will be provided. Get tickets to enter our door raffle, and bring a jar of your honey to participate in the honey exchange (optional).

Parking Note:

On-street parking outside park entrance; no parking allowed inside Edgerton Park.

All participants at our bee yard activities or any other CBA-sponsored event involving live bees must bring their own personal protective equipment designed specifically for beekeeping. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have complete coverage of bare skin with light-colored clothing (nothing black) and must wear a proper bee veil or bee suit and closed-toed shoes at all times. Bees sting and inject venom, so if you are concerned about your reaction, please consult a physician before attending.
