Due to concerns about COVID19, Ted Jones will be conducting these workshops using Zoom.
A walkthrough on closing up the hives at the apiary. Instruction on how to prevent mouse damage, apply appropriate hive ventilation and last-minute feeding techniques.
The workshop is led by Ted Jones, Massaro Farms Apiary Manager, and past president of the Connecticut Beekeepers Association. Appropriate attire is necessary: long trousers and long sleeves. Veils will be provided, or bring your bee suit.
